Welcome

Our family welcomes you to our Blog. This is a place where you can read about our lives, happenings, joys, and anything else we feel so inclined to share. As our children leave home and enter a world of opportunity, we hope this blog will keep us connected with each other, and you connected with us. Feel free to comment and share with us on our Blog. As Helen Keller once said,
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
We hope you will take this blogging adventure with us.

UEA Break!

We had a little fun this long UEA weekend. Took a couple days and played at the sand dunes with Eldon and his little ones. Charlie, Tamara and I competed in our state Karate Competition. Charlie and I took 3rd place in our divisions. Tamara has been going to instructor school, so she competed against a lot of different belts. She worked the whole competition helping judge and organize. She is doing great! Charlie and I spent Monday at the Dinosaur Museum. I have been promising him a visit for some time. We had a great time. Some time, when I get a moment to talk with you, I will tell you about my awesome jump on the 4 wheeler that scared Zach to death, defied any of Eldon's dare devil moves and made me laugh so hard... you know what happened next! Love you all.

Hi Alena! I don't usually comment...who has the time? Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy keeping up with you and your family through your blog. I check in all my blogging friends/family every couple weeks and get excited when I have all sorts of posts to read. Thanks for taking the time to share! I toyed with the idea of starting my own blog, but what would I write? Went to work, went to my YW Presidency meeting, went home to my clean, quiet condo. Exciting! With no kids, life is easy and simple, but not much to blog about. Love you!

Congratulations! Dad and I are so proud of you three with all your Karate expertise. Please tell us about your 4-wheeling jump or whatever on Thursday, Thanksgiving.
Keep up the good work and you will not get a Rhomboid spasm like I have in my back right now. In fact, I am doing Karate moves to relax the muscles along with relaxers. OW! Love
